# describe your decomposition in bounds/mybound.json
make fit BOUND=bounds/mybound.json ARGS=--write
make verify BOUND=bounds/mybound.json

fit solves for the exact coefficients, or tells you no exact combination of your terms reproduces the target. verify rebuilds the identity in exact arithmetic. If it passes, open a pull request adding the file and the leaderboard picks it up on the next build.

A bound the pipeline cannot check is recorded as cited and never takes a record.

The state

|T⟩=cosβ|0⟩+eiπ/4sinβ|1⟩,cos2β=13

The qubit Bravyi-Kitaev T-type state, the face centre of the stabilizer octahedron. A different Clifford orbit from the H-type despite the overloaded name.

Rank 5 at six copies is conjectured impossible, with search terminating at exactly √(5/6) sin(π/12).

What would move it

The published exponent is already beaten: χ ≤ 15 at m=10 gives γ = 0.3907. Lowering it further needs χ ≤ 6 at m=7→ 0.3693.
